Here is a list of tips that can help anyone no matter where you are in your network marketing adventure.
1. Don’t Quit, Building a Million dollar business takes time.
2. Write down EVERYONE you know, don’t leave anyone out in the beginning
3. Work with your up-line. First 10 meeting should be with your up-line.
4. Remember your time is valuable, not everyone will sign up. MOVE ON!
5. Live a life of abundance. 26,000 people sign up for a MLM opportunity or direct sales company every day in the United States, so Again MOVE ON when someone says NO
6. Fail fast! Meaning contact your leads quickly, it only hurts you to spend large amounts of time mulling over a lead.
7. Be consistent! Devote 5-10 hours a week working your business.
8. Prospect buy “You” not your product or business.
9. Don’t Sell, Show them the value.
10. Let your companies pamphlets, CD’s, and other marketing material sell your product.
11. Understand your compensation plan.
12. Treat this like a business! Invest Time, Money, and Energy everyday.
13. Dress to impress! You don’t need to be in a business suit, but you don’t want to show up looking like you just woke up.
14. Be confident, remember if you don’t have it borrow it. Again that is why we involve our up-line, use their knowledge and confidence to grow your business early on.
15. NEVER Give away product. If they want to try it, then they should purchase the product.
16. YOU NEED TO SPONSOR THE RIGHT PEOPLE, Wasting your time with the wrong people will destroy your business faster then not having anyone at all in your business. Signs of someone who is wasting your time, wants more out of you then they are giving,
17. You can not say the wrong things to the right person.
18. Don’t be afraid to walk away from a prospect.
19. When you run out of prospects, rewrite your warm list. People sometimes will join the second, third, fifteenth time around.
20. Research the product and your competitors.
21. Never get into a “My product is better then your product, with the competition” Instead spend your time educating your customers about the benefits they will receive from your product.
22. Educate your prospects about the power of duplication.
23. If you are not growing, its because you are not working your business. Talking to only 5 people and them saying No to you, is not working your business.
24. Never Stop Educating yourself.
25. Read at least 2 books a month on leadership, Self improvement, etc. If you don’t like to read or do not have time to read. Subscribe to audiobooks.
This is just a quick list of tips for success, but I wish I had these when I started my business.
